If you are one of them, I respect your listening to death metal all day just for you, but you need to stop it. The reason for this is that it makes you look like a weirdo in public. This is not just because it makes people uncomfortable, though that is part of it, but because it shows how little you care about your image.

Having your face covered in black paint and walking around in a black leather jacket does not make you an attractive person in the real world. You might look great when you are in the safety of your own home. And maybe even if you go out with your friends to get drunk and listen to metal all night long, there are few things that will get people’s attention more quickly than seeing somebody dressed like a goth walking around town with their face painted black and wearing a spiked dog collar inside a fancy restaurant full of normal people.
